I finally get to reveal the first of two top secret pieces I completed recently.
Months ago I was contacted by Cave Drawing Ink to do a cover for a special project called Grave Soldiers. Five artists were asked to do covers introducing four characters for a multimedia concept. Check out Cave Drawing Ink's Blog for more info on the character I was asked to draw, Arnold Yates, and all about the project at

Press Release by Jeffrey Marvin
"It's been a while since I posted anything mostly cause I was working hard on a new project I'm hoping will be completed within the next year. This is one of 5 kick ass comic covers made by the finest artists I have had the great privilege to work with. Over the next week I'll be posting each cover for your viewing pleasure with a brief blurb about the issue. Your comments are encouraged, so feel free to let us know what you guys think! Enjoy!
He's smug, he's arrogant and he is a total bad ass. Arnold Yates has it all good looks, a perfect bod and the best job as a contractor...in Iraq. This guy is the top of his security team and if you find yourself staring down his MP-5 you aren't going to be long for this world. Yates is under the belief that he is untouchable, but karma is a bitch and sometimes it sneaks up on you when you least expect it."
This cover was a lot of fun to do, and I was really happy with how the final version came out. I kinda cringe when asked to do military type pieces, but I think I nailed exactly what Jeffrey Marvin wanted with the piece, and I can't wait to see where the project goes from here, whether I'm involved further with it or not.
Thanks to Cave Drawing Ink for the work, and I'm really happy to have contributed to any kind of success that comes your way with the project of Grave Soldiers!

PS- Hopefully soon I can also reveal the second top secret piece I mentioned.
